"Bill began building race cars in the early 60's after learning much as crewman. He built complete cars; engines, bodies, chassis, etc. There was nothing half hearted about the way he went at it. That burning passion to win led him to read and learn everything he could about race cars. He dedicated himself to the project. It was, therefore, no surprise when his efforts met with instant success."

"The wins came quick and often. His cars were, and still are, some of the fastest at every track they have competed at. While others try to get more horsepower to the tires, Bill's concept is to get the tires to use the horsepower that they are getting. Roughly translated that means that he realized early-on that suspension was the integral part of speed. He's been perfecting that theory ever since."
